Notre-Dame de Genève is the most important Roman Catholic church in Geneva. Consecrated in 1859, Notre-Dame was Geneva’s first neo-Gothic church. It was elevated to the rank of a Minor Basilica in 1954. Its 57 stained glass windows, installed between 1857 and 1986, constitute one of the most important ensembles in Switzerland.
